[SS=NONE]JACEY TOSS BACK
Kim, if it were a typical early October day, our high today would probably be near 72 degrees. But as we know our weather has been much warmer than normal for the past few days with daytime highs reaching the eighties... today that will be the case as well.
Right now temperatures in the Martinsville are already reaching the mid-seventies, lower seventies through the New River Valley and nearing 80 in Stanton. Upper sixties through Galax and Wytheville. While Lewisburg and Bluefield are just inching above 60.
For the rest of the afternoon... our weather story is more symbolic of summer temperatures with abundant sunshine and light winds. But we have a very interesting weather pattern beginning to take shape in time for our weekend - we'll discuss that in a few minutes Kimberly.
