Governor Jim Gilmore plans to address the Commonwealth on statewide television tonight.
WDBJ-7 will carry the governor's speech live, starting at 7:30.
Gilmore's office says he plans to talk about the security and economic measure the state has put in place since the September 11th attacks.
At 8, CBS will have live coverage of President Bush's news conference.
The president is expected to take questions for about 30 to 40 minutes.
CBS will then present the season premiere of "Survivor".
CBS programming for the rest of primetime tonight depends on the length of the president's news conference.
