The network says the package was most likely cross contaminated by a letter mailed to anchor Tom Brokaw.

The latest Richmond Times-Dispatch poll shows Democrat Mark Warner with a thirteen point lead over his Republican challenger.

Election officials say the six major party candidates are shelling out at least 37 million dollars in their quest for political office.

An irate passenger is being blamed for the crash of a Greyhound bus early this morning in Arizona.

Authorities say the passenger became angry when he was told he could NOT smoke on board.
Police say the man grabbed the wheel during a struggle with the driver as the bus traveled at 70- miles an hour.
The bus rolled on it side-- injuring more than 30- passengers, one critically.
Officials say the Phoenix man has been arrested and charged with
37 counts of aggravated assault.

Kenny Wallace led the first 31 laps but on lap 61 Tony Stewart blew by him to take the lead of the race.
Jeff Gordon worked his way into the top 10 before he stopped for gas and tires.
Kenny Wallace came back he was riding in a group of cars but he was the leader at the halfway mark of the race.
Curt Busch in car Number 97 was working his way to the front he was the leader after 302 laps Nemechek was running second.
Rusty Wallace was trying to get to the front but with 33 laps to go he was in the 26-th position.
Nemechek took the lead witht over 90 laps to go and he held off Kenny Wallace to win the Pop Secret 400 for his second Winston Cup win.
