A plane crash in Tennessee killed three soldiers early this morning. The soldiers were traveling from Fort Hood, Texas, to an airport in Clarksville when their single- engine plane crashed into a field. The trip was NOT an official military flight. The wreckage was found about three hours after airport officials received a distress signal. Officials say there was fog at the time of the crash.

All three soldiers were stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.[National-Guard]
