Firefighters are still working to contain a massive forest fire on Bent Mountain in Roanoke County.
The fire has caused extensive damage along Poage's Valley Road off Route 221. About 80 percent of the fire is under control- But as Justin McLeod shows us, their fight is far from over.

It hasn't been this dry in nearly twenty years.
The extremely dry conditions and high winds allowed this fire on Bent Mountain to consume nearly two hundred acres of land.

Whatever the conditions, crews hope to have this forest fire completely under control within the next several days.
