It was there that they picked up the aid workers.

Its clear the fin was torn off above the attachment brackets -- a catastrophic in-flight failure that sent the plane crashing to the ground.
Experts are also looking to see if turbulence from a nearby 7-4-7 might have also played a role in the disaster. The planes took off less than standard two minutes apart.

((ERIN GIBSON COMPLETED A STORY BOOK HIGH SCHOOL CAREER LAST YEAR AT CARROLL COUNTY BY BEING NAMED THE ASSOCIATED PRESS GROUP 2A PLAYER OF THE YEAR. SHE'S NOW A FRESHMAN AT VIRGINIA TECH AND WHILE THE TRANSITION FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO BIG TIME DIVISION ONE BALL IS NEVER EASY, GIBSON IS DOING JUST FINE.
The Hokies have been practices for one month and Gibson is wise beyond her years when it comes to understanding the difference between Carroll County and Virginia Tech basketball.

Two players who play in the post return from last year's team. The six, two Gibson might be the youngest of the three centers, but she is holding her own.

Erin averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds a game during here career at Carroll County under coach h Howard Mayo, himself a college post player. Gibson has been attending Tech's basketball camps since the eighth grade and her local fan base should help her make the jump to the college ranks.))

Saturday's 73rd meeting between UVa and Virginia Tech is for state bragging rights amongst the fans of both schools - but how much does it really influence high school athletes who are being recruiting by both schools?
It seems recruiting is affected very little by the outcome of this annual game.

The overlap in recruiting is really not as great as you might think. Only about 30 percent of the athletes Tech recruits each year also are pursued by UVa.
In fact of Virginia's 22 starters only four were recruited by Virginia Tech.

Dodge dominated Miami so now NASCAR says the Intrepids must shave one inch off the area below the bumper, impacting the front-end downforce on the car.
