Sources say investigators are concerned that the tail fin on flight 587 may have broken off as a result of structural weakness caused by pre-existing damage never detected by inpsectors.
That combined with wake turbulence may have been enough to break off the tail fin.

The killings were apparently over a gambling debt.

Police say damage to Doctor T-P Davis's office was caused by 80-year Eula Sowers.
They say Sowers pulled into the parking lot when her foot slipped onto the accelerator.
Her car hit a parked vehicle then went through the building, into the lobby where it struck a patient.
That woman, Mildred Farmer of Riner, was pinned under the vehicle and suffered multiple leg fractures.
The passenger of the parked vehicle was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
