It's burning in the Craig's Creek area... close to the Appalachian Trail.
Crews with the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest are handling the overall management of the fire... with some helicopter support...

A group of local students is finding out first hand what it's like to be homeless.

The event attempted to give youths a glimpse of the struggles homeless people face each day.
