Farmers and Merchants of the Historic City Market gathered last night to "deck-the-stalls" for the holiday season.
The event kicks-off the holiday season for the market community.
The farmers decorated their stalls with pine boughs and red bows.
Some even chose to show their patriotic spirit by hanging American flags, along with the decorations.
And farmers aren't the only ones in the holiday spirit, businesses are also busy decorating their windows for the Christmas season.

Some drivers who have magnetic flags on their cars are finding problems with the vehicle's paint.
That's because the magnets are so thin, water gets behind them and causes the paint to fade or peel.
Detailers in Richmond say several customers come in for a wax job only to learn their car needs a paint job instead.
