Several arrests have been made in a Thanksgiving day murder at an American Legion post. Deputies at the Halifax County Sheriff's Office have arrested 23 year old Allen Fallen, 29 year old Eric Shawn Edmonds, and 20 year old Wendell Williams. The three, who're from South Boston, are accused of killing Thomas Jackson. Deputies are still looking for another suspect, Quindell Williams. The investigation is continuing, and police say additional arrests are expected.

This year-- Triple-A predicted 87-percent would travel by car rather than by plane for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Governor-elect Mark Warner is trying to find ways to boost Virginia's economy. Today he's expected to meet with officials from the textile and furniture region of Virginia.
The meeting is scheduled for 11 this morning at the Henry County Administration Building. The incoming governor and local officials will discuss ways to respond to recent massive job cuts in Southside ... including the recent announcement that V-F Imagewear will shut down, laying-off 23-hundred workers.
