An official announcement will be made tomorrow afternoon.
Advance Auto has stores in 38 states and employees 28-thousand people.

Wayne Sterling was the Chief of Staff for the South Carolina Commerce Department before coming to Henry County.
The Associated Press says Sterling resigned that postition in September after an internal investigation questioned some spending from an account funded by private donations.
The investigation alleged that Sterling used money from the privately funded account for personal golf outings.

A spokesman for the South Carolina governor's office said the spending problems were resolved with the departures of Sterling and Communications Director Beth Braswell.

State Police say 20 year old Linda Hitchcock died when she hit a water delivery truck head-on near Newport. Authorities believe she was traveling East on Route-460 when the car skidded on gravel, she overcorrected and crossed the median into oncoming traffic. The driver of the water truck, Steven Douglas Richmond, was taken to Montgomery Regional Hospital for his injuries. Westbound lanes on 460 were closed for almost two hours.

In January of this year, members of the Church were shaken by a shooting near the front door.
The incident left one man injured, and bullet holes in the building.

The B-24 Liberator was on a bombing mission March 5, 1944.
Without warning the plane went down in a heavy thunderstorm. The defense Department says attempts to locate the wreckage and crew at the time were unsuccessful. The Pentagon reported today that remains of the 10-man crew were located in Mandang Province in the late 1980's. They include Lieutenant George Ellison of Danville and Sergeant Joel Williams of Meadows of Dan.
Their remains were just recently shipped back to their families in the States.
The crew will be honored at Arlington National Cemetery next week.

There haven't been any accidents or injuries in connection with the recall...but Ford studies showed that road salt could corrode rear-wheel bearings and cause them to wear prematurely and create noise from the rear of the vehicle. Tree expert Larry Boitnott (BOYT-not), who planted these trees, says this year's drought, and generally warm weather this fall, combined to create an unsually late second blooming.
Boitnott says the trees should not be harmed by these later-than-normal autumn blossoms.

The custody dispute is believed to be the nation's first trial over fan ownership of a ball hit into the stands at a major league stadium.
