THEY BELIEVE ITS SHARON WHO WANTS TO DESTROY THE PEACE PROCESS AND THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY.

(( Here "IT" is. What is "IT?"...well until "IT" was unveiled in New York it was the codename for the Segway Human Transporter.....a nifty two-wheeled battery-powered device that takes you from here to there.
At an average speed of eight miles an hour and a top speed of 17 miles an hour-- inventor Dean Kamen says this is just what America needs.

(SOT DEAN KAMEN/INVENTOR )

"IT IS THE MISSING LINK BETWEEN YOUR SNEAKERS AND BIG VEHICLES."

(COURTESY: SEGWAY LLC)

To hype the Human transporter--Kamen provided this video of him and his engineers fine-tuning the invention at their New Hampshire headquarters. It weighs 80 pounds--can go up to 15 miles without recharging the batteries and looks like a cross between an old rotary lawn mower and a Razor scooter.

(NATSOUND OF WOMAN ON HUMAN TRANSPORTER)

"OH MY GOSH, THIS IS SO EASY "
Using computers, sensers and gyros Kamen says it works basically as an extension of the rider.

(SOT Dean Kamen/Inventor.)

"WE PUT ABOUT FIVE GYROS IN THERE THAT ACT LIKE YOUR INNER EAR, THEY SENSE WHAT THE MACHINE IS DOING, SO IF I WANT TO GO FORWARD I THINK FORWARD, IF I WANT TO GO BACKWARDS I THINK BACKWARDS."
The inventor feels his invention will help increase productivity in warehouses and he says its perfect for delivery companies. The National parks service plans to test them--and the US Postal Service is going to try them out in New Hampshire and Florida. At a cost of eight-thousand dollars--it's pricey...but a smaller--less expensive consumer model is on the drawing board.
