Tonight one Afghan tribal leader says he's cornered in the Mountains of Tora Bora.
U-S special forces have joined in a fierce battle in the Mountains nearby. One report says forces have surrrounded a cave where bin Laden had been based.

The Henry County School Board voted today to close two high schools, three elementary schools, and re-organize several others.
Hundreds of angry students and parents say the board acted too hastily, and didn't carefully consider other options.

A federal judge has heard arguments in the case against the Virginia Military Institute and its practice of cadets saying a prayer before the evening meal.

The Snowshoe Ski Resort is looking to the heavens for snow.

The resort decided some of the old Norse gods are angry and are withholding the white stuff.
So it appealed to Ullr (UH lar) the famed Norse God of Snow.
Three years ago this same ceremony delivered the goods after it honored him.
So Snowshoe thought, if it worked once, why not twice.
(Uh-lar) Ullr was considered to be one of the highest gods in Norse mythology. It is claimed he was an awesome snowshoe-skier and archer.

Less than a week after being named head football coach at Notre Dame, George O'Leary has resigned.

O'Leary has admitted falsifying his credentials both academically and athletically. O'Leary claimed he earned a masters degree at New York University but, according to NYU records, he never did.
His resume also indicated that he played football for three years at the University of New Hampshire. In fact, he never played a single game for the school.
Notre Dame's athletic director said the breach of trust made it impossible for the school to keep O'Leary. The 55-year-old coach guided Georgia Tech to five straight bowls, before leaving for South Bend.
