Some troops were able to take a break today to celebrate the Christmas Holiday.
But others remain on high alert, preparing for a possible attack.
As Jennifer Sabih reports, abandon weapons by fleeing Al-Qaida are leaving NO trail to bin Laden.

((Celebrating Christmas Day with a football game and a turkey dinner sounds pretty traditional, but when the celebration is in Afghanistan, Christmas takes on a whole new meaning.

SOT: Max, US Commanding Officer

"We are setting the conditions to bring in additional food supplies, additional stores of medicine and assisting in ensuring the area is secure."
And while some Marines took a break, others stood ready. At the airport in Kandahar, soldiers remain on high alert after Officials learned of a possible attack. It's the highest alert they have had since taking the airport two weeks ago.
Near Kabul, British Troops are standing guard and preparing Bagram airport for the arrival of 1,500 troops that will become part of an International peacekeeping force set to assemble in the next few weeks.

SOT: Royal Marine Captain Guy Davis

"We've got our Christmas meal and we're going to try and make the best of it."
Meanwhile, the mountains of Tora Bora still yield stockpiles of ammunition abandoned by fleeing Al-Qaida fighters, but no clues to where Osama Bin Laden may be hiding. Eastern Alliance soldiers scour the hills in search of any remaining Al-Qaida troops who may be hidden in the caves there, but many are believed to be on the run towards neighboring Pakistan.

Although US Marines in Afghanistan may have to be be a bit creative in their Christmas celebrations this year, it's their messages to loved ones at home that show the true spirit of the season.

Speaking of heart, the Dazzle had a lot of it. Watch Andre McCollum give to Thomas Hamilton, he scores in close to the hoop for two of his four points.
Then, Greenville's Eric Harris hits the nice jumper and the count is 70 to 55 Roanoke out in front with 27 seconds left in the third.
In the fourth, Hamilton finds Marshall Phillips, he scores two of his game high 19 points and although the Dazzle is outscored 31-20 in the fourth, they hold on for the 94-86 win and successfully protect a big lead.
