Deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Craig County.

The sheriff says David L- Fisher shot and killed his estranged wife at her Mountain View apartment-- before turning the pistol on himself. Fisher's wife, Anna Kay, taught fifth grade at McCleary Elementary. The couple's daughter discovered them around three yesterday morning and notified authorities. The sheriff says the couple was separated.
