Grayson County has cancelled all classes today and rescheduled exams for January 14th and 15th.
Highland County Schools will be delayed one hour.
Pittsylvania County will operate on a two-hour delay today.
Tazewell County schools will also run two hours late today.

A man is hospitalized after being struck by a Norfolk Southern train in Botetourt County.

Members of the Troutville Rescue squad say the man was hit while walking on Nace Road about two and a half miles North of this crossing. The man's identity was not immediately known last night. Rescue squad volunteers say he was transported to Roanoke Memorial hospital with injuries to his shoulder, ribs and stomach.

Yesterday, they announced a deal that will allow mentors into state prisons to work with inmates about to be released.

A Richmond Law firm has become a weapon for a Henry County citizens' group that's fighting the local school board -
BUT there is one problem---

Citizens Campaign for a Better Plan is seeking an injunction to stop the school board from closing three elementary schools and converting two high schools to middle schools.
