Dan River is closing plants in Georgia and South Carolina and moving those jobs to Virginia.

Roanoke Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a Mississippi man early this morning.

Witnesses say he ran from the building, started to drive away and collapsed while climbing back out of his truck.

Yesterday, the Vikings promoted assistant coach Mike Tice and gave him a three year contract to be the team's head coach.
The 42 year old Tice starred at the University of Maryland and briefly played with the Redskins in 1989.
He's been a Vikings' assistant since 1996.
