Since those calls -- Enron's collapse has left its stock virtually worthless -- decimating the pension funds for thousands of its workers. The downfall of the compnay -- which made huge contributions to the Bush 2000 campaign -- came as no surprise to Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill who said on one Sunday talk show, "companies come and go." O'Neill defended his decision against intervening on Enron's behalf.

The carnival was held inside the Salem Civic Center all weekend.
While the event mainly drew younger children there were activities for all ages....
Games, rides and food were the main attractions.
The carnival also came to Salem last year.
