The winter weather caused some slippery conditions on roads.. and runways. The Roanoke Regional Airport say numerous delays and cancellations because of the frozen moisture mix. Justin McLeod has more on how our area weathered this latest winter storm.

V-DOT crews spent most of the morning trying to remove that snow from the highways.
But when you're dealing with a wintry mix, it's almost impossible to keep people from sliding into problems.

Airlines are now required to screen every piece of luggage for dangerous materials before it goes on the plane.

But because there is a shortage of detection machines and bomb sniffing dogs --airlines do have the option of just making sure that no bag is loaded onto the plane without is owner on board.

The Palm Beach International Airport has gone one step further in its security efforts. It's using cameras to scan people's faces. The new system, called "Face It" is designed to single out criminals and terrorists in a crowd. The camera compares facial features to those in a database and alerts security if it makes a match.

The Palestinians are back on the air ... after Israeli troops blew up a radio station.

The Voice of Palestine radio station was knocked off the air for several hours when Israeli forces seized the official Palestinian broadcasting building in the West Bank and set off explosives.
The radio station is now operating from another radio station in Rammallah.
The destruction of the radio station is the latest wave of violence after the killing of six Israeli's by a Palestinian gunman who opened fire at Jewish girl's birthday party.
