The decision came late this afternoon.
A federal judge ruled that school-sponsored prayers at VMI are unconstitutional.
This all stems from a lawsuit two cadets filed saying evening prayers before dinner violated their constitutional rights.

The students claimed the tradition violated their constitutional rights.
A federal judge agreed ruling grace at the state-funded school amounts to a "state sponsored religious exercise."
The state Attorney General immediately fired back.

Last week, Enron's accounting firm, Arthur Andersen, fired their auditor, David Duncan, because of his alleged role in shredding documents.

Committee members say Enron documents were destroyed... 'after' the Securities and Exchange commission launched an investigation.

"I don't know whether crimes were committed but it's clear to us that our investigation and other investigations have been impeded by this policy of destruction"
Although Duncan did not speak today he did tell investigators in the past that he was only following instructions from an e-mail sent to him by Anderson lawyer Nancy Temple.
But when pressed on the issue Temple denied that her e-mail helped trigger the wave of document destruction.

Today's hearing comes just a day after Kenneth Lay announced he was ending his position as Enron Chairman and Chief Executive.

Six years ago Kevin Dresser took over the wrestling program at Christiansburg High School and now the program is respected through-out the state.

The Virginia Tech football team will open its 2002 regular season against Louisiana State University on Sunday September first.
The nationally televised game will kickoff at 2:30. The remainder of Tech's football schedule will be released by the end of the month.
