Federal agents raided a local doctor's office this afternoon and arrested five people.

It happened just after two at the Southwest Virginia Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation building on Second Street in Roanoke.
Doctor Cecil Knox, Beverly Boone, and Tiffany Durham are all charged with illegally distributing several substances including Oxycontin.
Knox and Boone are also charged with several counts of health care fraud for allegedly defrauding Medicare and Medicaid.
If convicted, both could get life in prison and fined more than twenty seven million dollars.

Authorities in Los Angeles have charged actress Winona Ryder with four felonies in connection with her arrest on shoplifting charges.

She is accused of stealing nearly 48 hundred dollars' worth of merchandise and possessing painkillers without a prescription.
