Today, Governor Mark Warner will be in Southside to visit the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy-- nearly four weeks after a shooting spree that left three people dead.
A Warner spokesman says the Governor will first meet with town and county officials, and then will head to the school.
He plans to speak to an assembly of students and faculty, and have lunch with them.
Warner was friends with one of the victims -- Dean Anthony Sutin -- and had served on the school's board of trustees.

The Norfolk Southern coal train derailed in Eggleston just after three o-clock yesterday morning. 24 cars were involved, eight ended up on their sides. The company says it was able to keep other trains moving by detouring other cars around the accident. Environmental inspectors were sent to check for any possible hazards, but since it is coal, Norfolk Southern does NOT expect any problems. The train was headed from Bluefield to Norfolk.

Teachers and students complained of a strange odor at Lee Waid Elementary school in Rocky Mount.
Maintenance workers determined the problem was most likely coming from the boys bathroom.
Last month, crews replaced leaky pipes as well as removed absestos from other parts in the school.
Now that the work is completed, school officials say the odor has disappeared and students are no longer having headaches or becoming nauseous.
