That's the case San Diego police say they're dealing with- after 7-year old Danielle van Dam vanished from her bed Friday night.

A Botetourt County woman convicted of embezzling says she's learned her lesson.

46-year-old Betty Jo McNeil today pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of embezzling less than 200 dollars from a local 4-H Club.

The crime was "spread out" over about 18-months and culminated during the summer of 2001 when McNeil disappeared for three weeks. Attorney's on both sides say McNeil's shown remorse, paid restitution and taken responsibility for her actions.

Nearly 50 workers at the Magnox plant in the New River Valley are entering their fifth day on strike. The Pulaski location produces materials for video and audio tapes. Union employees say the company locked them out after an agreement couldn't be met on new contract terms.

The Danville Regional Heart Center will be affiliated with Duke University.
