Testosterone, alcohol and guns are to blame, according to Roanoke's chief prosecutor.

Drug Enforcement Agent Timothy Workman pleaded NOT guilty to the murder of Kevin Bailey in front of a courtroom full of Bailey's friends and relatives.

Workman was apparently leaving the restaurant with a woman when the two men started arguing.

[VO-NAT]
[SUPER=03-Hampton/January 1999;]

A group of six D-E-A agents traded insults with some men inside a bar in Tidewater in 1999.
The confrontation continued in the parking lot, and two of the civilians were shot and wounded.
An agent was charged with unlawful wounding, but convicted of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
That incident, and one in El Paso, Texas, prompted the D-E-A to tell its agents to go easy on the booze when they're off duty.
