Officials say 49-union workers accepted a new contract Wednesday evening. Magnox says the terms have both parties paying more for health insurance and that workers will loose a week's vacation. The new contract is a slightly revised version of one rejected by workers last week. The Pulaski plant makes materials for security products and audio and video tapes. Magnox says all parties agreed that a return to work was necessary in order to focus on the company's long term survival.

Today, more than two thirds of Ntelos electrical workers in Daleville voted no to unionizing.
But that vote may not be final.
Union reps say Ntelos violated at least five federal labor laws before the unionization process began, and have made other infractions since.
If the National Labor Relations board finds the company was in violation, it could overturn the vote.

Ford and Dodge are getting a boost from NASCAR Just 2 days before the Daytona 500.
It will trim a quarter-inch off their rear spoilers.
Cutting the height of the spoiler, which sits on top of the rear deck of the car, allows cars to go through the air with less drag, thereby increasing speed.
The Move came after Jeff Gordon and Michael Waltrip each won 125 mile qualifying races yesterday in a Chevrolet.

No ford or dodge led during any lap.
