The company says it grew out of its facility in South Carolina, and decided to move its headquarters and operations to Henry County.

K-mart is closing two locations in Central and Southwest Virginia- that is according to documents filed with the bankruptcy court-

The Radford and Madison Heights stores are two of four in the state and nearly three-hundred nationwide that will be close. The manager at the Radford store says he can't comment about the closing and will not say how many people work there.

A drug store chain says it is taking extra steps to prevent cigarette sales to minor.
This came after an undercover sting in NEW YORK. Officials say Walgreens in that state had the worst record of all the retailers. Workers failed to ask for proper I-D eleven out of 12 times.

The drug store chain says in effort to crack down on sales to minors it plans to re-train all its cashiers nationwide.
Walgreens says it will also hire an outside company to make sure employees are following the policies.

Last night the college ranks got the post-season party started as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference crowned its tournament champ at the Salem Civic Center. Hampden-Sydney beat regular season champ Randolph-Macon 55-to-48 top earn the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament and its fifth title since 1997. The final four is again in Salem at the Civic Center on March 15th and 16th.

Meanwhile, his old team the Chicago Bulls pulled off a big trade with the Indiana Pacers. The trade comes two days before the league's trading deadline and the Bulls hope it will help get some respectability back into the once storied franchise.
