Pulaski police officers are working late tonight too... rounding up drug suspects.
By nine tonight officers had apprehended 23 of 40 individuals sought on drug-related charges.
The arrests came as a result of a nine month undercover narcotics investigation by the department.
Individuals were sought for everything from the possession of marijuana to distribution of oxycontin.
Police say they want to send a message to individuals.. stop taking part in drug-related activities, leave Pulaski, or go to prison.

That's in sharp contrast to earlier in the day when Yates broke down and sobbed as prosecutors showed graphic crime scene photos of her bruised kids.

19 years ago the idea was to make the Scott Robertson Golf tournament one of the top junior golf events in the country.
Well, the tournament has reached that status.

The Junior Golf Scoreboard recently ranked the Scott Robertson as the 5th best tourney in strength of field for boys in the nation and second best for girls.
Ty Tyron, who recently turned pro, said that the tournament was one of his favorite events.
This past year the tournament featured 12 year old girl's sensation Morgan Pressel. Pressel competed in the 15 to 18 year old age group and a week later she qualified for the women's U. S. Open.

But that's the case for Dr. Pepper and the company's patriotic can.
The can was designed after September Eleventh and displays the statue of liberty along with the words "One Nation...Indivisible"
What it doesn't include are the words "under God" which complete the phrase from the pledge of allegiance.
The children from an Iowa Bible school started a letter campaign to try and get the company to add the missing words.
A Dr. Pepper spokesman says the company has received over ten thousand emails, but some WERE happy about the word selection. (------------)
