[VO-NAT]

The 82-year-old man has been released from jail, a week after the fatal shooting of a teenager on his front porch.

[SUPER=03-Roanoke/Last Week]

The decision to let him go came the day after the grand jury refused to indict Jamison for murder in the death of Charlotte Brown.
Jamison had been accused of firing a rifle through the front door of his home on Hanover Avenue, hitting the 15-year-old girl.
He had been held without bail since his arrest.
