State police say heavy fog may be partly to blame for an accident in Campbell County last night.
The crash left three people dead and several others injured.

Two arrests have been made in connection with last month's murder of a Roanoke convenience store clerk.

27- year old Mark Lamont (knee-moh) Neamo and 18- year old Christopher Brian Krug were arrested in Nebraska. The Roanoke County men are charged in connection with the murder of Joyce Parrish. Parrish was shot during an attempted robbery at this Stop-In on Hershberger Road. Steve Rivera was also working that night and was shot in the shoulder.

The two were arrested yesterday afternoon after they were stopped by police in Fremont, Nebraska. Police they had been asked by Roanoke police to keep an eye out for the two. Neamo and Krug are charged with abduction and use of a firearm but additional charges are expected.

Roanoke Police managed to catch a robbery suspect yesterday morning, just minutes after a holdup at the Bank of America on Melrose Avenue.

It happened around 11:20. A man went in, presented a note and said he had a gun. A teller gave him some money, and he ran out of the bank. Going only on a description of his clothing, police caught up with the man at 11th Street and Fairfax Avenue.
He took off running, but uniform officers and detectives managed to arrest 30-year old Maurice Daniel Dooley of Christiansburg. They got the money back but did not find a gun.

He's urging all Virginians to cut back on their use of water for non-critical purposes.
Warner says climatologists predict that the rainfall expected will not be enough to ease the drought.
