Jean,
The fire marshall says the fire was set along a road ... too far from the railroad tracks to have been started by a train.
Not only that -- the fire was lit in TWO separate locations, about 100 feet from one another.
AND fire investigators NOW say they believe the train passed AFTER the fire had already started.

Fire Marshal Don Gillispie says whoever set the two separate fires knew what he was doing.
The winds blew the fire right up the bank, across the tracks, and into a pile of tires.
Fire investigators say no accelerants were used... but they did find a lighter which has been sent to a crime lab for testing.
Gillispie says he has NO suspects ... and no one saw who set the fire.
