An army that reportedly was ready for war.
When Pierre and his wife Tracey Upshur were indicted last fall, he was arrested immediately.. she turned herself in several days later.
A federal agent testified today this man.. Matthew Gardner.. told the Charlotte County sheriff that had marshals come to the compound in Red House to arrest Upshur, they likely would have been met by armed Muslims determined not to give her up.
Upshur's attorney says he has no knowledge of such a threat.. and that an appeal is likely.

A Christiansburg High School student died in a traffic accident. State Police say 16-year-old Jason Dean Thacker was ejected from his truck after hitting a tree on Pilot Road last night. At around 8:30, officials say his Toyota pick-up truck went off the side of the road and then into an oncoming car. The driver of that vehicle, Laura Whitacker Howard was not hurt....but Thacker's truck rammed into a tree. Officials say the teenager would have celebrated his 17th birthday today.
