Several hours later, authorities say Abbott was seen in Malinda Smith's car on Interstate 81.
After a short high speed chase, Roanoke City police say Abbott committed suicide on Route 2-20 near Elm Avenue.

Pulaski County officials were also investigating Abbott. The Sheriff's Department says last night Abbott tried to abduct a man, and fired two gunshots at the victim but missed.

Lutes then took off again and was later found dead in his car.

One officer did say that Lutes and a neighbor were involved in a criminal mischief case in October.
According to a teenage neighbor- Lutes told some kids to throw eggs at the homes of two of his enemies that night.

And the Food and Drug Administration sent letters to three U-S pharmacies, saying the products are illegal.

UVa wins it 16 to 10.

Sanner again rips rope, this time driving hard to the goal and firing, Roanoke improves to 6 and 5 with the 22-3 win.

((When All-American Receiver Andre Davis caught his final career touchdown pass in the January 1st Gator Bowl, his departure left a huge hole at the receiver spot. Enter former Running back Justin Hamilton and former Quarterback Chris Clifton to the Tech receiving corp. Both Hamilton and Clifton agreed to move positions this spring as a way to earn immediate playing time and help the Hokies build depth at a crucial spot.

Both Hamilton and Clifton spent last season as red-shirts. The red shirt year gave them the opportunity to become familiar with Tech's offensive system. Armed with that knowledge, the pair have made significant progress in just a short time this spring.
