We know that both Trigon and Southern Health have received letters. According to Carilion, MAMSI has not. No contracts have been signed.
But if your insurance company is NOT chosen, comparatively higher rates could be passed on to you.
A source tells us it's possible Trigon may not make the cut because it refuses to come to terms with Carillon's payment system. Some say that's a major concern because Trigon insures one hundred sixty thousand people in the area.

The law goes back 200 years ... and Falwell's lawyers say it's outdated and unconstitutional.
In November, Falwell filed a similar lawsuit.
But at that time, the state did not enforce the land restrictions, so the judge dismissed the case.
Since then, the General Assembly has decided to enforce the law, so Falwell is renewing his fight.
