"There is no way to speak about the suicide attack in the bus and separate in isolation what's happening in Nablus and all cities and also in the Jenin refugee camp where hundreds of Palestinians are killed and thrown in the streets."

Sec. of State Colin Powell "Once we get started we might take a look what else might be done to allow the two sides to have confidence in what the other side is doing."

The three little boys and three little girls born Saturday weigh in at 3 plus pounds and seem to be thriving.

(Sot/Sondra Headrick ) Its hard for me to believe looking at them now

that they all fit in my tummy.
Doctors credit the newborn's health to the sheer determination of their mother who was able to 'hold on' to them for 31 long weeks. Mom Sondra called this hospital home for 93 days prior to giving birth which gave the babies time to better develop.

The number of multiple births in this country has exploded in recent years. In 1980 1377 babies were born in pregnancies involving triplets or more. By 1999 the number was more than 7 thousand.

( OVARIAN STIMULATION VO)

An increase attributed to advanced fertility treatments.

(Stand Up)

The Headricks, parents to one child wanted another but were unable to conceive. Because their insurance didn't cover infertility treatment, they could only afford fertility drugs. They cost just a fraction of in vitro fertilization, but are much less predictable and can sometimes result in multiple pregnancies.

(MAP GRAPHIC 2)

It's a choice many infertile couples are forced to make. Only 14 states currently require insurers to offer some kind of fertility coverage.

(nats: news conference)

Insurers say its an issue of money, but Eldon Headrick says they have to pay one way or another.

(Sot/Eldon Headrick father of sextuplets) Boy I think it would sure be

a lot cheaper to do the in vitro than to have sextuplets every once in a while.
When they finally get home to Rago Kansas they'll represent half of the population of 18...and its when they get home they say that the reality will sink in...
