For five hours this afternoon, police searched for Taimere Robinson.
They believed he was abducted from a park near his home in North West Roanoke.
As it turns out, Taimere was mistaken for another boy.

Isaiah's grandmother sent her friend to pick him up at the park... their uncanny resemblance gave the man no reason to believe he picked up the wrong child.
Isaiah was with his aunt while his mother was in labor.

An eye witness saw Taimere take gum from a stranger, then get into a car with him just after school let out Monday.

Panic set in, police were called, and the neighborhood prayed for Taimere's safe return.
After four hours of searching, police got their break.
Isaiah's mother realized her friend had picked up the wrong child.
The neighborhood is still in tears tonight ... but these are tears of joy.

They told me several dozen policemen volunteered to patrol the area tonight in hopes of finding Taimere.

President Bush is the keynote speaker for this year's George C. Marshall ROTC Award Seminar.
He'll speak to 260 cadets Wednesday morning at V-M-I's Cameron Hall.
Each year, V-M-I hosts the three-day seminar on national security issues.
The President is appearing at the invitation of the George C. Marshall Foundation and the U-S Army.

The tape also shows one of the September 11th hijackers in front of a photo of the World Trade Center in flames. The hijacker says it's time to kill Americans in their heartland.
But what's not clear is if the picture of the World Trade Center in flames was added to the tape after 9-11 or if the hijacker was able to predict how the building would look after one of the planes hit. Al-Jazeera says it received the footage a few days ago and plans to air the complete tape on Thursday.

The Boston Marathon took place today, and again the Kenyans dominated.

Rodger Rop (RAP) and Margaret Okayo (OH-KY-OH) won the respective men's and women's events. Rop, who is the 11th Kenyan to win in the past 12 years finished in two hours, 9 minutes and 2 seconds. Okayo broke her own Boston marathon record by about a minute. Two time defending women's champ Catherine Ndereba (DUR-AY-BUH) was second.

This past weekend at Martinsville proved to be costly for the volatile Kevin Harvick. He was not allowed to race Sunday because he violated his probation with NASCAR. Last night he was fined $35 thousand bucks and his probation was extended to the rest of the season. He can return to racing this week at Talladega.

Kenny Wallace was called in to sub for Harvick and drive the Goodwrench Chevy yesterday. Wallace says Harvick needs to understand that not only is he NOT Dale Earnhardt - but this is a far cry from the heyday era of the Intimidator of the late 80's.

((Hockey games are her escape from severe Aplastic anemia, a rare bone marrow disease. Kayleigh attended every home Express game from November on to watch her favorites, Terrence Tootoo and Joe Dusbabek. ((:)) This 13 year old saved her allowance and rented a Prestige Limousine Service limo, which charged her half price, to take the two hockey players out. They had lunch and then played putt putt. ((:)) ((:))
Every 10 days Kayleigh has a blood transfusion or immune suppression chemotherapy until a blood match can be found. This compensates for the bone marrow that has stopped producing red and white blood cells. Her hospital stay is a little easier when Terrence and Joe are there. ((:)) Kayleigh is also extremely giving. Two days after her diagnosis, her aunt, a heroine and cocaine addict, called with an incredible request. ((:))
This family, which includes a few hockey players, is almost complete, the adoption papers for five month Baby Isaiah, now nearly weaned off his drug addiction, should come through soon. Steve Mason News 7 sports.))

Today the soft drink giant announced the new drink that will taste like Classic Coke with a hint of vanilla. Vanilla Coke is virtually the same but will look a little different from the rest of Coke family-- by debuting the "coke" brand name in a unique script of the Coca Cola trademark. It will hit the shelves on May 15-th. (------------)
