Students at Hidden Valley Junior High School in Roanoke County were evacuated for nearly an hour this afternoon after a student told a friend he had an explosive device in his backpack.

State Police are x-raying the device to determine if it is real, but Roanoke County investigators say it appeared to be a fake grenade.
The school says discplinary actions will be taken against the student. Roanoke County police say there will probably be criminal charges placed as well.

It was able to squeeze its head through the narrow end of a yogurt container.
But the skunk couldn't pull its head back out.
It wandered around a couple's backyard until a wildlife team came to the rescue.
The skunk was captured in a towel then carried to another area, where the container was removed.
Luckily, the operation never turned into a stinky situation.
