More than two weeks after a tornado cut a path of destruction in Bedford and Campbell counties, those localities have been added to FEMA's disaster list.
The declaration will help provide businesses with low-interest loans to rebuild and residents can qualify for federal grants to make up for losses that were NOT covered by insurance.
Authorities say it's important that affected residents call FEMA at 1-800-621-FEMA to pre-register for assistance.
