Between September, 1996 and the Fall of 2001 the complaint says Pastor Charles Briscoe came in repeated contact with the woman at church and at youth camping retreats. The suit in Circuit Court alleges Briscoe pursued the woman even after she went away to college, e-mailing her almost daily trying to arrange sexual encounters with her. The Church of God says it has revoked Briscoe's credentials and removed him from leadership in the church. News 7 was unable to reach Briscoe for comment.

Public schools in Virginia will soon be required to post the national motto, "In God We Trust."
Today, Governor Mark Warner signed the legislation despite concerns about the cost. Warner said he's been assured that private donations will pay for the signs.
Last month, lawmakers rejected the governor's changes to nine bills and sent them back to his desk. He has now signed all of them, including the Open Container Bill that makes it illegal to possess an open alcoholic beverage in the passenger area of a motor vehicle.
