Good Evening.
On a weekend when millions of Americans are travelling- a warning about some forms of transportation.
Federal officials tonight are asking all transit system operators to remain on high alert-

((The department of transportation says terrorists may now have their sights set on America's railroads--everything from passenger and freight trains to subway and commuter lines. The warning did not mention specific cities, but a source said such attacks would likely involve explosives. NICKI MCDONALD/NEW YORKER "It's really scary for me, but it's not gonna stop me from takin' the subway - I can't afford a cab." SANDY HOCHBERG/NEW YORKER "I just wanna go on with normal life, I don't wanna let terrorists stop me, or determine what I do." While it says it has no evidence, the FBI is also warning about a possible attack by scuba divers--saying terrorists could invade using the cover of water. This adds to the growing list of warnings US officials have issued over the past week--the statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn bridge were possible targets. IN THIS POST 9-11 WORLD AMERICANS REMAIN ON GUARD--WORRIED ABOUT NEW ATTACKS. BUT THE FBI HAS ANOTHER CONCERN AND IT DEALS WITH A POSSIBLE COMMUNICATIONS BREAKDOWN BEFORE SEPTEMBER 11TH. Minneapolis FBI agent Coleen Rowley claims months before the attacks, officials at the FBI's Washington headquarters blocked the investigation of terror suspect Zacarias Moussaoui. Rowley claims agents from her office became so frustrated, they notified the CIA. FBI Director Robert Mueller has ordered a full investigation into the allegations surrounding the 20th hijacker. Charges, that add to a growing list of possible intelligence failures leading up to that fateful day in September. Drew Levinson, CBS News, New York.))
