Pulaski police have made an arrest in the overdose death of a teenage girl.
The 17- year old was found dead around three o'clock this morning from an overdose of a cocaine derivative.
Police have arrested Edward Lee Carter on charges of accidental murder and selling drugs to a minor.
Carter is currently being held in the New River Valley Regional Jail.
The girl's name is not being released until family members can be notified.

Police have found a knotted piece of clothing with Chandra Levy's remains that could have been used to restrain her.
A source says investigators are trying to determine if (lee-vees) Levy's leggings were used to tie her up.

An official with China Airlines says 27- bodies have been recovered and about 100- others were seen floating.
The Boeing 747 carrying 225 passengers was on its way from Taiwan to Hong Kong when it went down about 20- minutes after takeoff.
The cause of the crash is NOT known, but there are suspicions that the plane might have exploded.
That's because farmers along Taiwan's west coast are finding scraps of airline magazines and other papers with China Airlines labels on them.

Authorities say a train carrying visitors to South Africa slammed into a freight train parked at a station in Southern Mozambique.
The accident has left 196 people dead-- hundreds more were injured.

official says it appears to be human error.
It's the worst train disaster in the history of the impoverished
southern African nation.

Dale Earnhardt Junior was back in the 3 car racing with Nabisco sponsorship, but he was wrecked out of the race early.
He was not alone as a total of 9 caution periods highlighted the 200 lap event.
The final caution came out with under 10 laps to go when Dan Pardus and Casey Mears tangled coming into turn three.
Greg Biffle pitted and took a shot and rallying from end of the lead lap for a win.
The strategy almost worked as he used every bit of the four green flag laps that remained to finish second right behind Jeff Green.
Green is now the third man in history to win this race in back to back years - the others are Mark Martin and the late Tim Richmond.
