High winds and low humidity helped to fuel a forest fire in Rockbridge County.
The blaze in the James River Face Wilderness doubled in size in just one day.
It started nearly two weeks ago after lightning struck a tree in the Devil's Marbleyard.
And so far the blaze has charred more than 11-hundred acres of wilderness.
As Justin McLeod discovered- it could take several more weeks to completely put the fire out.
