Once a thorough background check is completed, Judge Philip Trompeter could order the teenager held until he is 21. It was everybody out at the U-S Capitol this afternoon- after smoke was reported in the building.
Firefighters say it was a small fire on the House side of the building- They've put that fire out.
Aides to House Republican leaders apparently smelled the smoke and saw it coming out of a vent.
They told Capitol police who ordered the evacuation.
Smoke is now being cleared out of the fourth floor area- and the building will be re-opend shortly.
