The Kuumba (kuh-OOM-buh) Community Health and Wellness Center opened about a year and a half ago, a clinic designed largely to help people with insufficient health insurance .. or none at all.

18 months later, some people are finding the center even more helpful .. because it can still provide low-cost prescriptions .. when other sources no longer do so.
