The problem comes from people entered with the same Social Security numbers, or with discrepancies in their names and birth dates compared to the federal Social Security Administration's computers.
The D-M-V does not have the staff to track down every discrepancy in its computers, so it leaves it to drivers to fix the errors.

As a part of the event, each car had to be driven at least a hundred miles during the week. The annual show moves around the country every year, and will be held in Rhode Island in 2003. The event in Hot Springs wrapped up this evening. (------------)
