A Campbell County man wanted on a wide variety of criminal charges led Lynchburg police on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash this afternoon...all while his young daughter was in the car with him.
Police say both are fortunate to have survived.

Cleary gave pursuit and Mays wrecked trying to avoid spike strips the police had laid out on the 501 Expressway.

Yesterday, South Boston's own Ward Burton won the new England 300. It was Burton's first win since the Daytona 500. Burton had just one top 5, only two top 10's and five DNF's since the win. He is now 25th in points. It is Burton's fi(------------) fth career victory.
