An explosion at a Rocky Mount industrial plant sent two men to the hospital ... one of them with life-threatening burns.

The plant's owner says workers were servicing a boiler when it exploded.
John Gregory -- an outside contractor-- suffered burns to more than 80 percent of his body and is in critical condition.

Both went to U-V-A Medical Center's burn unit.
At the time of the blast, about 80 of the plant's 250 workers were inside.

Traficant remained defiant insisting on his innocence.
Last week the house ethics committee recommended his expulsion last week and backed it with testimony on the floor.

Architects and engineers are now trying to re-calculate the costs.

On Monday he charged Alejandro Avila with murder, kidnapping and committing forcible lewd acts on Samantha Runnion. Avila says he was at a shopping mall when Samantha was abducted, and will enter a plea early next month. Samantha was abducted during daylight from her mothers apartment complex. The next day a man discovered her body on the side of a road and called 911. I think its that little girl from the news!
