The rig came in late this afternoon from West Virginia- but officials say it could take as long as 18 hours to reach the men with it.
The miners apparently hit an abandoned mine filled with water.
That water filled the shaft trapping the workers-
Rescue workers are pumping air down a hole they've drilled to where they believe the miners are trapped.

31-year old Joyce Thompson of Peterstown West Virginia died early this morning of severe head trauma and internal injuries at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Thompson was at the Cascades in Giles County with her two young daughters and cousin when she fell Friday afternoon.

Attorney General Jerry Kilgore wants to beef up the state's efforts to locate missing children.

Under AMBER alert, T.V. stations would air information about a missing child as soon as an abduction is reported.

Kilgore wants the program to be statewide.
