Officials today unveiled a state-of-the-art fingerprint finder.
They say it'll dramatically decrease the time spent at a crime scene searching for fingerprints.
The equipment should also help investigators locate evidence that might otherwise go unnoticed.
State police purchased seven fingerprint imagers.
Two are destined for Southwest Virginia.
Salem and Wytheville will both be receiving one of the high-tech crime-fighting units.

Judson has been married 52 years, and was diagnosed with leukemia and given only a few
months to live. That was almost 30 years ago. He says this is the second time he has beat the odds.
