Today-- two bodies were found by a man walking in the woods, not far from the rural village where the two ten-year-olds went missing two weeks ago. Word of the discovery comes after arrests in the case, which has gripped the nation ever since Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman disappeared. Police say they've arrested two people on suspicion of murder. News reports identify the suspects as a school caretaker and his partner, who is a former teaching assistant who worked with Holly and Jessica's class.

Authorities are investigating the death of a Roanoke county woman.

The victim has been identified as Beverly Haygood of the 600- block of Tyler Road. Police say she was found shot to death in her home last night. Haygood's body was taken to the medical examiner for an autopsy. Police have not released any other information.

A Roanoke City Sheriff's Deputy is out on bail tonight after an apparent argument with his girlfriend turned violent.
Deputy Brian P. Haston was arrested this morning and charged with abduction and throwing a missile at an occupied building. Haston has been with the Sheriff's office since January of 1996. He is now on administrative leave WITH pay pending the outcome of an internal investigation. The deputy was released on 10-Thousand dollars bond this afternoon and his arraignment is scheduled for Monday.

A former employee of Washington and Lee University is accused of embezzling. Dee Miriello served as a purchasing agent for the dinning hall and is accused of keeping rebates from food vendors. Her case is related to that of the former "chief cook" who pleaded guilty to embezzlement in March. Officials say he kept about 70- thousand dollars in rebates. Miriello's husband, Frank, is Washington and Lee's football coach, but is NOT suspected of knowing anything about the matter. Dee Miriello is scheduled to appear in court on Friday. [Tease1]

As for Tiger Woods, he's still in the mix thanks to putts like this one. The long par putt goes down. Tiger is at 4-under, five shots back of leader Justin Leonard.
Check out the approach shot at the 16th hole for Leonard. It lands two feet from the cup, and he knocked that in for one of his four birdies on the day. Leonard fired a 69 today and owns a three shot lead at 9-under par.
