Funeral services will be held for Michael and Mary Short over the next two days.
There will be visitation tomorrow night from 6 until 9 at the Martinsville Church of God.
The funeral will be held at the the church Thursday at 2.
Meanwhile, members of Jennifer Short's family stepped forward with the hope that a direct appeal might have an impact on the investigation.

10 year old Nicole Timmons was found a state away- in Nevada.
The girl was taken from her bedroom sometime before seven this morning-
An Amber Alert was issued and about five hours later a tip from a resident was called in- Nevada Highway Patrol troopers rescued the girl- and arrested a 68 year old man.
Glenn Park used to babysit the child- Now he faces kidnapping charges.
Tonight Nicole's mom thanked the police detectives and the FBI.

After a week of frenzied preparations, the town's reservoir is slowly being replenished.

The Wood Brothers made out pretty darn good today. They signed Ricky Rudd to drive their number 21 Wood brothers Motrocraft Ford beginning in 2003.

It's a little dark, but you can make out the bear doing a few laps in the pool.
